Empowering Communities: Gloria Gates CARE Teams Up with Local Food Bank

At Gloria Gates CARE, our commitment to serving communities goes beyond healthcare. Recently, we had the privilege of joining forces with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Food Pantry to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

Carl and Laura Letsche, dedicated volunteers at the food pantry for the past seven years, welcomed our CARE Outreach Director, Valerie Luther, to their latest food giveaway event. Together, they distributed essential meals and provided invaluable support to members of the community.

In addition to our partnership with St. Luke’s, Gloria Gates CARE collaborated with Bickel’s Surplus store in Bellwood to enhance the sign-up area for food pantry visitors. Recognizing the importance of warmth during cold winter days, we donated two new heaters, ensuring a more comfortable experience for everyone seeking assistance.
