Can I see a Provider after I sign up?

You are eligible to see an in-house Gloria Gates provider as soon as you enroll. If you sign up before the 29th of the month, you are eligible to be referred to specialty providers the 1st of the following month.

How can I get this for my employees?

What happens if I cannot pay one month?

Your subscription will be suspended. Kindly give us a call at 814-300-5646 to get your subscription reinstated. It is important to keep your payments up to date so you can always get care when you need it.

Can I get expensive tests like MRIs right away?

Yes, if it is deemed medically necessary and ordered by your Provider. The Provider will make sure you get the tests you need, based on your health requirements in a timely manner. The list of services available to you is detailed on our Subscription Page.

What if I want to cancel?

Your initial subscription is for a minimum of 6 months. You can cancel any time after your first 6 months. If you cancel, you can keep using the service until the end of the month you have paid for. If you cancel, you cannot sign up again for twelve months after the month of your cancellation.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up online anytime. If you need help, you’re welcome to visit our Altoona CARE Center at 2525 9th Ave Suite 1A, Altoona, 16602, and we’ll help you sign up in person. You can also call 814-300-5646, and we can complete your sign-up over the phone. In some cases, your employer may invite us to your workplace for a convenient sign-up.

What if I need to see a specialist?

If you need to see a specialist outside of your subscription, you’ll be paying  an additional cost for that particular service. Your Gloria Gates CARE Provider will help decide if you need to see an outside specialist. if you do, we will help arrange the appointment.

Are all medications free?

No, not all medications are covered. Gloria Gates CARE Direct covers many generic medications. Branded medications and/or some newer medications might not be included. Your Provider and Pharmacist can work with you to find affordable options for medications not covered by Direct.

What if I have a health emergency?

Gloria Gates CARE Direct does NOT COVER medical emergencies. Our services are for routine healthcare needs to help prevent medical and health emergencies. If you have a serious medical emergency, you should go directly to the emergency room. We strongly recommend buying individual health insurance on the market. We can help you navigate the Pennie marketplace to select a plan.

Do I need insurance with Gloria Gates CARE Direct?

No, while we highly encourage you to get a high deductible insurance plan to cover services like emergency visits, hospitalizations and surgeries, it is not required.  

What if I am healthy and do not need to see a doctor often?

That’s perfect, WOWCare will benefit you the most. You’ll receive direct communication, faster appointments without delays, and avoid high priced traditional healthcare costs.
